Landscape Construction

Services We Offer

  • Yes. We offer both standalone garden design and landscape construction services, as well as a fully integrated design and build approach.

Some clients require a complete garden design, including layout plans and planting schemes, which can then be built either by us or another contractor. Others may already have a design and are looking for a professional construction team to implement the work. We are happy to accommodate either approach, while ensuring the garden is delivered to a professional standard.

Our integrated design and build service provides the greatest continuity, allowing us to guide the project from initial concept through to final completion.

  • Our design process begins with an initial consultation to understand your garden, your requirements and how you would like to use the space.

From this, we develop a considered layout that responds to the site, architecture and intended function of the garden. This may include scaled drawings, material suggestions and planting plans. The aim is to provide clarity and confidence before any construction begins, ensuring the garden is both visually balanced and practical to build and maintain.

  • We combine horticultural knowledge, creative design and professional construction within one integrated practice. This ensures gardens are not only thoughtfully designed, but built with technical precision and long-term performance in mind.

With over 40 years of combined experience across horticulture, garden design and construction, we understand both the creative and practical requirements of successful gardens. Our background in garden aftercare and maintenance also informs our design thinking, ensuring spaces are realistic, sustainable and appropriate for long-term use.

Unlike many contractors, we approach each project individually, responding to the client, the architecture and the character of the site. Clients work directly with the designers and construction lead throughout the process, ensuring continuity, accountability and clear communication from concept through to completion.

Our aim is to create gardens that are not only visually compelling, but enduring — carefully considered spaces that continue to mature and improve over time.

  • Project costs vary depending on the size of the garden, the scope of work and the level of design and construction required. Larger gardens or fully integrated design and build projects naturally involve greater time, materials and labour than smaller, more focused improvements.

A design and site survey fee is required initially to begin developing the project. This fee is deducted from the overall project cost should you proceed with the full design and construction.

For construction projects, payments are typically structured in staged instalments. This usually consists of an initial 40% payment, followed by two further payments of 30% at agreed stages throughout the build. Larger or more complex projects may be divided into additional stages, which are clearly outlined and agreed at the outset.

This structured approach ensures transparency and allows the project to progress smoothly from start to completion.

  • Yes. We specialise in providing a fully integrated design and build service, managing every stage of the project from concept through to completion.

This ensures continuity between design and construction, allowing ideas to be realised faithfully and built with care and precision. Clients benefit from clear communication, a structured process and a single point of contact throughout the project.

This approach ensures the highest level of quality control and consistency.

  • Yes. We are happy to construct gardens from existing designs, provided they are technically sound and appropriate for the site.

Where required, we can also review and refine aspects of the design to ensure it can be delivered successfully and perform well long term. Our construction expertise ensures the garden is built correctly, with proper ground preparation and attention to detail.

  • We work on a wide range of projects, from smaller garden improvements and planting schemes through to complete garden redesigns.

Every project is approached individually, and we are happy to discuss your requirements and advise on the most appropriate scope and approach for your space.

  • Yes. Planting design is a core part of our service.

We develop planting schemes tailored to the site, soil conditions and intended level of maintenance. Our horticultural background ensures planting is selected not only for visual impact, but also for longevity, structure and year-round interest.

We can also source, supply and install all planting as part of the construction phase.

  • We are based near Arundel and work throughout West Sussex, Hampshire and the wider South East.

We are happy to discuss projects across the South East region and can advise on availability depending on location and project scope. Also further afield if just designs are required

  • Yes. We are fully insured for both garden design and landscape construction.

This provides reassurance and protection throughout the project, ensuring work is delivered professionally and responsibly

  • Project timelines vary depending on the size, complexity and scope of the work.

Following consultation and design development, we provide a clear outline of the construction schedule and expected duration. Our aim is always to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

  • We work closely with trusted nursery suppliers, many of whom grow their plants here in the UK using peat-free compost and sustainable practices. This ensures plant quality, health and suitability for British growing conditions.

We also grow a selection of plants ourselves in our own small nursery, allowing us to provide carefully established, well-adapted specimens where appropriate.

Where plants are sourced from specialist growers outside the UK, they undergo strict plant health inspections in accordance with DEFRA regulations. This ensures all planting is healthy, compliant and suitable for introduction into the garden.

Our horticultural expertise ensures planting is selected not only for immediate impact, but for long-term performance and success.

  • We prioritise working with local suppliers and British manufacturers wherever possible, supporting regional businesses and maintaining high standards of quality and accountability.

Using locally sourced materials allows us to ensure reliability, consistency and appropriate material selection suited to British conditions. Where specialist materials are required, we work with carefully selected national suppliers who share our commitment to quality.

This approach reflects our wider ethos of supporting local industry while delivering professionally constructed, long-lasting gardens.

  • The first step is to contact us to arrange an initial consultation.
