Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes. We offer standalone garden design, landscape construction, or a fully integrated design and build service.

Some clients require a detailed design and planting plan which can be built either by us or another contractor. Others already have a design and require a professional construction team to implement the work. We are happy to support either approach while ensuring the garden is delivered to a high professional standard.

Our integrated design and build service offers the greatest continuity and quality control, allowing us to guide the project from concept through to completion.

  • The first step is to contact us to arrange an initial consultation. This allows us to understand your garden, your requirements and how you would like to use the space.

Following this visit, we can advise whether design, construction or a combined approach is most appropriate, and outline the next steps clearly.

  • Our quotation process begins with a site visit, where we assess the existing garden, discuss your requirements and develop a clear brief.

We then undertake a site survey and prepare a detailed quotation outlining the scope of work. This can include design, construction or both. Once issued, we are happy to review the proposal and make any necessary adjustments to ensure it aligns with your expectations.

  • Project costs vary depending on the size of the garden, the scope of work and the level of design and construction required.

An initial design and site survey fee is required to begin developing the project. This fee is deducted from the total project cost should you proceed.

Construction costs are typically divided into staged payments, usually consisting of an initial 40% payment followed by two further payments of 30% at agreed stages throughout the build. Larger projects may be divided into additional stages, which are agreed in advance.

This structured approach ensures transparency and smooth project delivery.

  • Project timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the garden.

Following consultation and design development, we provide a clear construction schedule outlining the expected timeframe. Our aim is to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

  • Yes. Planting design is a core part of our service.

We develop planting schemes tailored to the garden, soil conditions and intended level of maintenance. We can also source, supply and install all planting as part of the project.

Our horticultural expertise ensures planting is selected for longevity, structure and year-round interest.

  • We work closely with trusted nursery suppliers, many of whom grow their plants in the UK using peat-free compost and sustainable practices.

We also grow some plants ourselves in our own small nursery. Any imported plants are subject to DEFRA plant health inspections to ensure quality and compliance.

  • We prioritise working with local suppliers and British manufacturers wherever possible, supporting local industry and ensuring quality materials suited to British conditions.

Where specialist materials are required, we work with carefully selected national suppliers who share our commitment to quality.

  • Yes. We work on a wide range of projects, from smaller garden improvements and planting schemes through to complete garden redesigns.

Each project is approached individually, and we are happy to advise on the most appropriate approach for your space.

This ensures professional accountability and provides reassurance throughout the project.
