Plants:

The Heart of the Jungle is built around a foliage-led planting scheme designed to create atmosphere, texture and year-round interest.

Large architectural plants, layered greenery and contrasting leaf shapes combine to create a garden that feels immersive, exotic and full of life, while remaining suitable for UK gardens.

In the space we have used Ginger Lillies (Hedychium) which was kindly donated within the garden to show off this wonderful plant! Please contact Andrew (collection holder) if you would like to grow some and he’ll be able to send you some, or visit on the open day on Septembers first weekend in West Sussex..

Every product featured within The Heart of the Jungle has been carefully chosen to support the garden’s design, functionality and long-term performance.

Although many of these products have been kindly sponsored, sponsorship did not influence the design. Each product was selected by the designers because it was considered the most appropriate choice for the garden’s concept, appearance and intended visitor experience.
